We must always be ready to suffer evil but we must not choose which evil we will be asked to suffer. A Christian's cross, be it embraced with humility, is always one of God's choosing and not ours.

Who knows? Maybe I even got this from reading "Maxims of the Saints". But hopefully we both got it from reading the Word.
