That is so wise, and timely for the church. The emergents are spewing all kinds of nonsense and many people assume it is all true. Unfortunately,we live in a largely Bible-illiterate world.

Yes, but the amazing thing is that Tozer lived all of his life before the emerg*** conflation reared its head. He died in 1963 when even I was only just out of short pants.
What a shame that his prophetic voice fell on so many deaf ears. But then, who really knows how many were truly turned back into the path by his cries?
Truth is always truth, and the underlying heresies in the church only change their outward appearance - never their substance.
