Temporary Technical Problems
I regret to announce that when I awoke from my nap yesterday that my computer didn't. IOW I am unable to do anything in blogging or email until further notice.
Posts will continue to appear, but imagages may not. Neither will those droll little mouse-over comments. Sooner or later even audio links will fail to show.
I`ll try to fix this ASAP. This message comes to you from my son`s computer.

Tony, thank you for letting us know. We can pray for a new computer or that your present one will be fixed ASAP!
And I will miss your mouse over comments: ie a face only a mother could love. Your balance of seriousness and humor is delightful.:-)

The computer is sort of up an running now. The power supply was apparently the problem.
But there is still something not quite right with the audio functions. I get speaker feedback when the computer is sleeping, noise when recording and distortion when playing back microphone recorded material.
Playback of third party mp3s is fine. Grrrr! (Tears out what remains of hair and is now unable to boast to brother about relative hirsuteness.)
The saga continues, but I'll try not to let it affect posts.

Did I ever tell you about the day my G4 computer, gen-u-ine Apple monitor, and expensive audio interface all permanently fried? It took with them my iSight cam. Talk about tearing out hair... So I feel your computer pain. I'm glad to see your sense of humor is intact.:-)
