Thank you for this, sir.
If the God whom we serve HUMBLED HIMSELF, and in a fashion infinitely beyond our comprehension, how can we, creatures of dust, even think of doing otherwise?
Php 2:5
Let this mind be, in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Php 2:6
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Php 2:8
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
This word from Isaiah is staggering:
Just as many were astonished at you, My people,
So His appearance was marred more than any man
And His form more than the sons of men.
Isaiah 52:14
It's "astonishing" humility!
