This statement by O.C. has recently hit home for me as I partook of Mark Kielar's sermon on meekness, as found in youtube.
He made me see meekness clearly, realistically, and more importantly, biblically.

OC had a lot of good things to say which resonated with me. For me it was like Chambers and, to a lesser extent, Andrew Murray were speaking right to my heart, echoing things I read in the Bible but had not grasped until that moment.
I was always taught that meekness, far from being wishy-washy, was actually power under control. In Jesus it was inifinite power under perfect control - demonstrating perfect meekness.
