Now THIS is Cultural Relevance....
Here is a short commentary by Dr. James White of Alpha and Omega Ministries. As an apologist and an exegete, I am a dust particle on a smudge on the sole of his left foot. As a Christian, I am his brother. His live broadcast program and podcast, called the Dividing Line is a twice-weekly sizzler for those who live in the rarified atmosphere of Koine Greek nuances and the finer points of doctrine. He has strong opinions on some matters but, unlike some people, he can back up the strength of his views with a sound knowledge of the scripture.
In this piece about the recent elections in the Excited States of America, he expresses the Biblical view of certain sinful acts and societal trends that are also referred to in the section of Romans currently being treated here.

You are so pithy! This is a great description of James White.
Dr. White is a grand scholar indeed. As an apologist and debater par excellence, he probably doesn't have too much room for paradox, but I'll forgive him for that. As an uber-apologist, he tends to go for the more firm and concrete stance on just about everything. I think he's on the high side of high Calvinism. Nevertheless, he maintains a humble and meek attitude, and I find no fault in that. Not that my judgment of him matters a whit, anyhow!

Just don't ever call him a hyper-Calvinist like some at the recent John 3:16 Conference did. He will eat your lunch!
